Arsenicum is well known for it’s effectiveness in treating food poisoning,especially where there are fears of death or of not recovering, also with burning pains. And the body usually feels cold.

A note on fears and sleep… Arsenicum is also a brilliant sleep remedy where there are any fears of letting go. These fears are often not conscious fears but a Homeopath will be able to see the pattern and address the fears accordingly. Where there are fears, we can’t possibly embrace life, those fears often hold us back from following our destiny and fulfilling our purpose so it’s important to clear them… you’ll feel SO much better!

We shouldn’t be afraid of sleep for fear of what might happen, afraid of letting go, we shouldn’t feel any jerking sensations during the night or wake during the night. Sleep should be blissfully deep and refreshing.
I often hear ‘Light Workers’ say that waking at a certain time or being aware during the night of their travels so not sleeping deeply, or being aware of when they come back into their bodies, is just part of their service work. Actually that’s not the case, we travel the most effectively and do the most effective service work when we let go and sleep deeply… in those cases it might be that some clearing of old ‘stuff’ could help, or a strengthening of soul connection. So, by addressing any issues around sleep we are able to do more healing work in our sleep and feel better during the day.
And if you’re not a Light Worker or Healer, you will still benefit from cleaning up your sleep act, waking at certain times will usually indicate an organ imbalance and that can be easily addressed. If you can’t get to sleep or wake in the night with a to-do list longer than your bed then some help might be needed in calming your nervous system, clearing any ‘baggage’ from your head and helping you to operate more from your heart than your head (it’s so much more effective).
